Here are some pictures of the family during the holidays. It was a great Christmas for us. Lots of family time although never enough. The girls in the basket are really seeing how soft the manger would have been for baby Jesus. We learned about the nativity over and over. Great times.
We made this
kitchen out of a storage room and some closet space. I'm especially proud of my husband and his helpers for this one.
The big room is open and nice now and the bathroom is spacious but much bigger than this
photo appears.
So I think this daughter's nickname might end up being Smiley. She loves to be talked to and she catches your eye by making happy faces and noises and
engages you into talking to her.
Thanks to Aunt R and Uncle Ch for the chalk as a gift, it is amazing how long a birthday gift of this magnitude can keep entertaining a child that is two (the chalk stubs are getting pretty small now though). We loved these pictures she drew today in the puddles from melting snow. She traced her sister and put her happy face on the baby blob too. Very creative. We have an artist in the making!
Does this doll look like me?
