we love cousin time! Here are pictures of our Bear Lake Family Reunion. We only missed two families plus one cousin. (that means 9 people were not in attendance).

Most of us ready to go into the Minnetonka caves. It was about 98 degrees outside.
Inside the caves. We saw lots of neat cave structures. It was about 50 degrees in the cave. We were grateful for our jackets and pants!

Husband plus little girl L. she made it 45 min (about half of the tour) before she realized she was tired and got her dad to carry her up the 100 or so steps in that cave that we had gone down. I think she fell asleep right before we went outside again.
this J girl of mine made a new friend with his big cousin I. they are both named after the same great grandpa!
At the bottom of the cave we took a group shot. There were so many of us that we blocked out the formations that we had been looking at.
Next we went to the Bear Lake beach. lots of sand and shallow water for young swimmers and grandpa brought a canoe which didn't get a rest the entire time in was in the water! Some people even got swamped. Ha ha!
the shade and the watermelon was very perfect for watching the swimmers and sand structures I mean sand castles get built.
Horseshoes was a hit too. some people even got points in the games.
This guy is such a happy trooper. He finds joy in every activity we expose him to. What a sweetie!
Look at how tall that cousin in the background is. If he grows anymore he will bump his head on the ceilings!

Aunt K provided the smores that night and camping with family just can't get any better than this!
J girl got a chance to capture some of her favorite memories and it begins with a cousin, an ant and a lot of nature, and another cousin.
This is mommys helper for taking the tent down. Don't get confused. My little boy is not a slug even though he leaves a trail everywhere he army crawls!
Right after this experience I let him wear his favorite shirt (but didn't get the picture). It says "Dirt is my favorite Color!"
