cousins visit Ut

We had an awesome few days with cousins visiting.  Here are some recap picts and comments of their visit!  
Day 1. We played at the splash pad the first night before icecream cones and then the next night too!  The kids loved the park adjoining too.

He is ready to be the driver.  A very focused driver.  I couldn't get him to look at the camera, he was worried he would crash the play structure!

Day 2.  So I found it interesting when kids wake up by 7:30 instead of 9:30, there is much more time in the day to start adventures early, so we got lots of fun in this day.  We went on a mile bike ride through a tree covered path. Wow, those kiddos are fast! 

I was impressed how the cousins were so excited about this waterfall (it always reminds me of the one their mother made once in Utah)

 We then went to the park and played with the ward playgroup. 

 This little guy loves motorcycles and ate his entire plate of lunch so he could use the motorcycle cookie cutter on his jello giggler! I hadn't realized how many motorcycles we see each day.  He pointed each one out with amazing enthusiasm. Zoom!

 My J girl had a few things on her list to do with cousins.  One was play the board game "Sorry" and the other was an art project with the Bendaroos.  Both were successfully fun and great!

 Day 3: we went to the zoo. Nana joined us on this day. (She and Aunt St came by the night before and got some splash pad fun too. But I accidentally left my camera at home that night) The animals at the zoo were in good humor.  The kids all chose an animal that they wanted to spot.

 Moms favorite.  I love the gorillas when they play and swing and tease each other.

 We watched a zoo show, so did the people sitting by us...

 the bears were swimming, rough housing and teasing each other.

 M man was very focused on locating the giraffes the entire day.  When we found them it was a highlight of the entire day!

 L was excited for the porcupine!

 J was super explosive when she saw the real armadillo!

 V was focused on spotting the crocodile and then once he found it he wanted the alligator too!

 This zoo trip was one to remember.  Amazing how hot it gets out there!

 We built some big lego towers.

 And of course we wanted to see the airplanes at the airplane museum. Although the boys were completely frustrated that you couldn't touch anything at the museum.  We kept looking for a sign that said "touch me".  None of the airplanes had that sign next to it.  Bummer. 
 
This airplane with a shark mouth was a hit with all the kids.

 Day 4: of course we needed to have some quality Nana time.  The kids enjoyed piles of stories before the boys and Nana had to go.  What a fun fun trip.  We can't wait to do it again!
