Here are selected picts and experiences from Jan to April 2012....
Some pictures from the farm, taken in Jan. I haven't posted for awhile, but now I'm documenting that these things happened.
.
Julz had her first acting debeau,
she is the volunteer, wise octupus, from the audience in a Rainbow Fish story. Here are more picts of us playing at the Treehouse Museum, hmmm in Feb. for daddy's big 3-0 day. Happy B-day to our favorite man.
Some B. Aunts came over for a b-day party dinner at our house in March. Loads of fun.
April: We have enjoyed Easter activities, meeting the Easter Bunny, hunting for eggs, dying eggs, and having fun together.

Unfortunately, we were all sick for awhile in April. Yuck. Now we definitely feel gratitude for generally healthy bodies! Also in April, we enjoyed joining in the General World Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. It was great again to hear the guidance of living apostles and prophets. I'm glad we can listen to it again and again on LDS.org! So much info and experiences to hear. I took this pict 5 hours into it.
Just kidding, this pict was 5 min into the 8 hrs. The girls were good, but didn't sit like this the whole time.
Middle of April, we enjoyed a cousin wedding in Seattle on the B. side. We saw loads of family and loved the mingling. Julz danced with the groom,
and the girls played
and played. Here are some other picts from the trip.
My camera battery was low and I didn't get as many picts as I wished though, we are missing lots of picts of family that was present. It was marvelous to spend time with everyone. Wish it could have been a longer trip.
Here are some fun times with U. R. and B. on the H. side of the family. We were able to meet up with them for a little while on the trip.
We enjoyed the bears in Redmond, the girls are natural outdoor women, even when dressed for a wedding.

When we got home we got new pets! Baby chicks! The girls are very obsessed with them so far (2nd day) and want to hold them and talk to them all day.

Here are some things I've been busy with in my idle time:
#1 An Uncle R quilt. So this creation is meant to depict Zinger on stage and be a 3-D experience. In the end, whomever sits behind the quilt can place their hands through to the gloves and do magic, included in the quilt are coin tricks and scarf tricks. Of course the blanket in the hands of a true magician, has limitless magic available.
Here are some pictures to get an idea of the Renn Faire in Utah to see what I based the creation on. (For some reason I could only find older picts when I searched, although I've been a number of years and have many other pictures!)
and then following are picts of the blanket made April 2012. Obviously, I used some artistic license.
In the third pic of the blanket you can see a scarf appearing as if by magic. I don't think I can download the video of the movement because our internet is too slow. I'll try it later.
#2 Silly Dresses that only your mom could make you wear (cause she's still learning to sew). Little Engine's favorite color is orange, so I finally had a great use for this fabric... Julz likes to be twins and the whole time I was sewing, said, "do I get one too?" The dresses are reversable and can be flipped inside out and worn the colors are yellow on the back of the orange and obviously vice versa. They generally wear the orange side out.

#3 Mom and Dad's b-day blanket. This is a stacked coin quilt. (or something like that).
